Establishment

2007 witnessed the establishment of Bayt Al-Zakat Australia.
The Board members of Bay Al-Zakat Australia are all Australian Muslim Women who dedicate their free time to investing and developing infrastructure for the social progression of the Australian Muslim Community.
Bayt Al-Zakat Australia board members are responsible for the development, direction and implementation of The "Golden Bee-Hive Project".
The Golden Bee Hive (G.B.H.P) project was an idea developed by the current chairmen of Bayt Al-Zakat International, Mr. Adib Marabani. Mr Marabani arrived in Australia in 1951. With the struggles of settling in a foreign country, and in collaboration with four other Lebanese Muslim migrants, he began what would become a lifetime of serving the Australian Muslim community. During his time in Australia, he has built relationships that have assisted the establishment of Bayt Al-Zakat International in 1984. Bayt Al-Zakat runs several programs of which include Orphan sponsorship, and the Adahi project which involves the distribution of food to the needy.
